Compatibility: Ram Cichlids, Neon Tetra, Neon Rainbow Fish?

Hi guys,

I have a few tanks which served as "grow-outs" but are now empty.

Can I keep Ram Cichlids, Neon Tetra and Neon Rainbow fish (temporarily) in a 2 ft tank?

Numbers: Two Rams (~2"), Dozen Neon Tetras (~1") and six Rainbows (~1")

I think the specific Rainbow fish I have are

Dwarf Rainbows (Neon) and only grow to 2".

I am primarily worried about keeping Rams with Neon Tetra..

What do you think?

The neons would not be fans of the high temps the rams would need. Cardinals or green neons would be a better choice. Not sure how the dwarf rainbows would handle the heat though.
