compatibility with convicts?

Do you any of you guys know of any cichlids that can compete with convict cichlids???? Or i would like to have a iridescent shark if possible..

Irredescant sharks get hundreds of pounds and 6 ft long, so... No to that. But In a 55 with a convict, I would suggest a jack dempsey.

well i only thought those sharks got like 2 feet long and they were a small fish but i guess i was wrong. i have a pair of cons. with babies could i get a pair of jacks or texas cichlids or festea/red terror or would that be over doin it to get another pair that get bigger?

Not is a 55..... A JD and a convict would probably be then only compatible medium sized cichlids you could get awya with in a 55.... But you have the convicts in the 55?? They might terrorize the JD if they are breeding or the Jd might eat the babies

Hey gourami are you sure your not thinking of red tail catfish? I didnt know irredescent sharks got that big.
