Im setting up a 75 gallon, and some fish i really would like would be 3 pictus catfish. What sa/ca cichlids would be good to keep with these?

everything I own seems to be fine w/ my Spotted and 4-Lined Pims - Geos, Gymnogeos, Red Devil, jags, JDs, GTs, FMs, Synspilum, Pike, Acaras, etcc

Alright cool. I really love oscars, but i think having an oscar and 3 pictus in a 75 would be pushing it.

Whats the difference between geophagus and gymnogeophagus?

relatively new to me as far as both gena goes, but from what I can tell the MAJOR difference is Gymnogeophagus is a mouth-brooder......but IDK tbh. some Geophagus MAY mouth-brood as well

I would get 4 pictus catfish a severum and a firemouth
