Could an Oscar about 12 inches be kept with a flowerhorn which is about 8 inches?

I had them together when the flowerhorn was aroudn 3 but seperated them when my brother moved out and i was wondering if they would work together again.

Never know till you try. Id be worried about the oscar, I dont trust those inbred mongoloid red devil knockoffs.

Only if You want to find Oscar dead one day!

Hybrids are WHACK!!! Keep it pure homie. F-flowerhorns,parrots and any other abbhoration fish.

Wow that was a very broad statement. Hybrids are not whack in my oppinion. Depending on the size of tank,.... it is always a gamble even with newly introduced like species. This would fit under, with extreme caution for sure though.

I hate when people rack on Hybrids as a whole!! I love my rtc x tsn.... and there are plenty other really nice crosses... As long as they're kept in the food/aquarium trade and left out of the wild there is nothing wrong with them... (but to be honest I really don't like flowerhorns at all.... but not because they're hybrids....)

I've got to disagree. Our flowerhorn has always been fine with all the other fish in our tank. He never messed with anyone, and in there were a jack dempsey, 2 oscars, an eartheater, a blood parrot, a chocolate cichlid, a jaguar, a ghost knife, a baby flowerhorn, and even a little head stander. He was also wih 5 silver dollars and a leperonus for a long time. He never showed aggression.

But, they all have different personalities.
