Well, recently my mom bought a 90 gallon JEBO aquarium for her bala sharks (she likes to keep things simple).Anyway, filled it up and everything was fine... until nighttime. 2 in the morning and she waks up to the sound of dripping, turns out the silicone popped, and water was dripping out very rapidly, soaking the carpet :nilly: So, we drain it even through our fatigue and it stops. Next day we return it for a new one... and you guessed it, that night same ting happens, but at 4 in the morning and this time it was pouring out. So, my moms returning it for a full refund+the money its going to take to clean the carpet. :irked:

ouch, sorry to hear that. It sucks when a seam pops, but at least it wasn't an entire glass pane

Were you filling the tanks with hot water or something? Unless Jebo makes aquariums that don't work (bad marketing strategy) seems unlikely two would break brand new.

Sorry to hear about your incident. Question, were these tanks store outside where you bought it? I would only buy from this warehouse because they store their tanks inside away from the sun. There is another place a few blocks away near me that sell Jebo for $150 less but they store their tanks outside. I could imagine what the sun would do to the silicone.

I have a 12gal & 125 gallons from Jebo. Jebo make good tanks. What model Jebo was it? Were your tanks level? Did you fill with cold water slowly? Where was the leak come from on the tank? You could try acrylic tanks and the odd of leaking is slim.

Whats the stand the tanks are sitting on?
If it's the matching Jebo stand it may be faulty - thats their problem.
But if it's your furniture - check that it's 100% flat and solid.
Two tanks failing the same way, well it could be a bad batch from the factory, or it could be the place they are sitting.

Hate to see you get an new tank from a different source, and have a third leak.

Cheers

I was wondering about the stand too - sounds like it isn't level.

Stand was completely level and made for the exact aquarium, filled it with room temperature water.... weird but threes a charm
