New ball python thts 1 yr old wouldnt take frozen/ thawed for me, so today i went out and bought a feeder mouse, put him in the feeding box then introduced the mouse. He wasnt going after it, the mouse even touched the snakes noes and he backed away and coiled into his ball. The mouse was literally walking on him and he stayed in his ball.

I sperated them now and am truely stummped need help, especially since i have another new pet....the mouse.

It's a ball python... stop freaking out.
Kill the mouse you got and throw it in the freezer, let the ball sit and be happy in his cage for a bit (like a week or two) and then try again. thaw the mouse and get it nice and warm. i have found that heat lamps work better than hot water but do not leave it under the heat lamp to long or it can actually cook the mouse.
If he doesn't eat, then he doesn't eat. It's not a big deal. ball pythons are notorious for going off feed for months at a time. Their famous fasts can last anywhere from a few weeks to 13 months (or even more)
so long as he is not loosing weight rapidly and is otherwise acting normal, then refusing food is just part of having a ball python. Get used to it.

If you just got the ball python then I wouldn't worry about it at all.
Don't try tomorrow, in fact don't bother the snake for a week and try next week or the week after.
I too understand the desire to feed the animal out of love, but you could really stress out the ball python more by constantly trying to feed it - especially live.

I had a ball python who didn't eat for nearly a month when I first got him. He took a long while to settle in, but he let me know when he was hungry (oh you will know) and from there he never stopped feeding.

Ball pythons are the worst snakes. Lol and ppl call them beginners. They are by far the most frustrating snakes to deal with since they fast for no reason. I've had one fast for 11 months before it took a meal. Far too picky. Id give it weeks to settle in and you not to stress about it. Then get a good hide and put the defrosted rat in the hide with the snake and let it be. It will eat when it wants too.
