What do you feed your comps?

Mine only seems to take frozen blood worm. Iv tried frozen shrimp, tetra prima, flake and shrimp and he doesnt seem to take anything but blood worm!

How can I get him to eat anything else?

Mine learned by watching my dwarf acaras eating flakes ... though I still had to include frozen foods as they lost weight on flakes only.

When I had dwarf pikes, they ate just about anything. But, they loved bloodwirms. My suspected sveni isn't catching in to pellets yet. He maimed 3 Buenos Aires tetras and killed another 7(no bodies found) is 6 days.

I dont get it, i have numerous tetras in the tank, i have even recently add 5 sajica fry for 'grow out' that are about 10mm long max, and he hasnt gone near them.

All the other fish eat a varied diet but this guy eats nothing but bloodworm and it is really starting to frustrate me!!

It took several, several months before mine learned.

Try New Era pellets, there are softer than the other brands of pellets. It took 2 months before my Atabapo I started eating the pellets. I only fed bloodworms once a week and when fat enough, started only offering pellets for 14 days straight before given a cube of bloodworm or piece of fish fillet. I continued this until it started to realize pellets were food.

I fed a mix of frozen bloodworms, glassworms, and daphnia so wasn't too worried about diet.
