I know it's a little off topice but I have to ask I've got one of the comp. and I was wondering if you knew when they started to color up? mine is still dull and I'm beginning to wonder if it's a female.

I bought the pair at almost 4", and the male was already colored up when I got him, and he has developed a lot more blue since I bought him. I would say that you have a female. Also, check for any color such as red, yellow, and a light blue coloring on body or fins. This indicates that you have a male comp. Females are almost completely silver. You are welcome to post a pic and I will see if I can help you sex it. Most of the time they max out at 10" in the home aquaria, so if your comp. does not have any color yet, it looks like you have a female. Dominant males will start to develop color a little before 4", and sub dominant males is 5".

Man...I want more of your Angels! I'll trade you a Red Sanchezi for a batch of them. I'm unsure how he'd do mixed with your breeders <G> but thought I'd just throw that out there lol.

I can vouch for the excellent quality of these Angels and profesional shipping if anyone is contemplating buying some. They're just incredible!

Thanks. LOL!! I am completely out of the sunsets right now. I should have more available in 3 weeks or so, as well as alot of koi. I only have 8 of the dime+ koi left. All of the new spawns are growing out, most of them are 9 days old free swimming today.

If anyone wants the comp pair, I am dropping the price to $70.
