due to new living arrangements i have to move 2 desktop computers out of my computer room into my only spare room which is my fish/poker room. the tanks in there are just the 2 small ones (30g and 25g). just wondering would it be a problem for my computers to be in the same room as the fish tanks?

No....lol. Unless there is a shortage of plug outlets, or they are inches apart; in that case you might get water on the comp.

I have a 30 right over my computer. All is well until an earthquake hits and the water goes onto my computer:ROFL: Other than that you should be fine. I have 5 tanks in my office and 2 computers and alllll is well....again at least until the earthquake hits and then I'm screwed!

Are you wondering about humidity? I thing you should be ok. I don't have any fish in my computer room, but my lizards are in here, and I haven't had any problems. I think a fish tank would put off less humidity, because it is covered tighter. The only acception I can think of would be some styles of sumps, but I think you will be fine with those size tanks.

My computers in my room with a 55, had tanks in here for years its still tickin.

Just make sure that all power strips, etc. are above "splash range" should The Worst happen...
