its a secret
about what is the grownth rate i should expect from my cons. they hatched about a month ago and are still pretty tiny. at what point should i expect them to be of a decent size so i can use them for feeders? thanks
Rob

BTW: i have separated the fry from the parents cause they just spawned again and hatched on sunday.. breeding like rabbits, now if only they grown fast :(

Are they black cons? or pink? my buddies pinks hatched and took about a month to get to a 1/4 inch size so I would imagine more then a month

if you have room for multiple tanks... you can do "step up stages" as the fry get larger. you can set up 3 or 4 10gallon tanks. have the 1st tank as the newly hatched fry, 2nd as the 2-3 week olds, 3rd as the 4-6 weekers, and the last as the ready-to-feed guys. at about a month in a half they are a whole lot bigger than guppys. once you get the assembly line going, you will have a non stop supply of feeders :) depending on how many feeders you will need you can have multiple pairs breeding. its alot of work for "free" feeders :)

I have 6 20gal. tanks for my feeders to grow in. By the time they hit the sixth tank they are about 3 months old and pushing the 2" mark. Not a lot of work either.
