con pairing

ok so i have 4 can fry buy 4 weeks old now and i was wondering at what age do the pair off cuz i watch them and 2 out of the 4 tend to stay close by each other

I've seen cons pair off as early as 1''.

Usually at 1", sometimes bigger they'll sart spawning. I highly doubt they could spawn after 4 weeks of life. More like 2-3 months.

Well are you sure they're male and female? They are probably sticking together, because cons are pretty social fish to eachother. (unless breeding)

In that case, I doubt they are getting ready to breed. But you never know.
