I just saw a gorgeous Pink Convict pair at my lfs. I was tempted, but I had to resist. I just saw a picture on a thread where someone had multiple Convicts with other various cichlids. I was wondering if a pair would be okay to put in a 75g with other fish ( 1 GT, 6 Dats, 1 Senegal, 2 Fancy Plecos, and 1 TSN)? Do you think they would terrorize the other fish? The TSN will be moving once he gets big enough to be placed in the big boy tank :D

I was going to warn you that you'd end up with one fat TSN and no other fish, but you seem to have that covered. If you get a single pair of cons, they may pair off and take a territory, but the 75 should be large enough for the others to have sufficient room.

I say why not. Enough dithers, in my experiance, forces the cons to obtain a smaller amount of spawning territory. The end result is that the fish must swim closer towards to spawning site to be attacked. Another strategy is to place the potential spawning site in a corner of the tank or covered with lots of stuff. Break up the line of sight.
