i have a pair of convicts right, well i guess they dont like each other or somthing cause NUTHINS HAPPINING, my dad had a pair in his 55 and they have already dug a cave and are doin great, and yes im sure i gotta a pair, thanx for all the help

Give them some time. Try doing frequent small water changes. What is the temp, and what are the params?
Convict breeding? Just add water. Bought a pair from Petsmart and had eggs after six days. The pair were only an inch.
Are you sure that you are sure? Cons are the 'bunnies' of the water.
Perhaps introduce another one to spice up the relationship..
How are you sure they are a pair if they have never spawned? Just because you have a M/F does not make them a (mated) pair.
Try lowering the lights, a bit of wine, some soft music... that could help
