con update (coloured up)

a few weeks ago i posted some pics of what was supposed to be a m/f pair of cons, turned out that they were both female, i moved the larger female to my SA tank and kept the smaller with a slightly smaller confirmed male

recently the smaller con has really coloured up i personally have never seen cons with this much colour, purple, green, blue, yellow, orange + black its all there >> here are some pics

yeah i have a smaller male in there but he just looks like evry other con im looking for a really nice strong male at the moment for my first try at breeding

what size tank are they in and are they fully grown?

its a 2Ft tank roughly 40L/10G, its supposed to be a grow out but once i move my juvi GT and bashed up albino oscar out it will be my breeder tank

could you keep cons in a 10 for life?

the female in the pic is just pushing 2" the male i have in there is 1" i belive i can keep them in there for a while as a breeding pair its hard for me to say tho these are the first cons ive ever kept - im not planning on moving them for a quite a while put it that way
