how long does it take convicts to get large enough to laying large amounts of eggs? i have a pair now that are maybe 1.5" and the female layed her first batch and there were only like 30-50 egss

my cons are about 2.5 inches and have laid eggs before maybe anywhere from250-450

my female is about 2" and she just layed another batch of about 100-200 eggs, which are now wriggling around my 1g

A large (4.5"+) female that hasnt laid eggs in a good 2 months should spew out hundreds of eggs. Considering my first spawn of my 1.75" female was 170 eggs, a large female could suplly a small city.
