i currently own a 300 gallon stockec with the following rtc, blackbelt cichlid, red terror, silver aro, common pleco, large flowerhorn about 16", pike green terror, losseili (not sure of name), jaguar cichlid, fire track eel, some common tilapia, frontasa and purple rose queen, paroon shark----i have 1 of each mentioned above they all get along fine and all are about 12-16"

----my concern my son found a turtle about 4inches in diameter at a clean lake in upsate ny while visiting relatives he begged me to put it into the tank about 2 months ago other fish dont pay him any attention he eats the pellets and occassional rosy reds ive even bought a floating "island" for the turtle....my question is will this turtle with its long neck and tail eventually make my fish sick with disease or grow and begin to kill off my fish please let me know

No, the issue is the turtle going to eat your fish. Did you check your laws for ownership?

didnt know it could be a possible legal issue finding and keeping a lake turtle---wow

that 12''-16'' rtc will eat it sooner or later
probibly sooner.
