Confirmation need on this snake found...

So a friend of mine found this snake. And of course, she decides to take it home. She doesn't know what it is and asked if I could help. After looking at a few pics online I think it's a Western Shovel-nosed snake. Can anybody confirm? It was found in Nevada.

it looks like a mojave shovel-nosed snake. chionactis occipitalis occipitalis.
