Confirmation of L#

I got this little dude from the LFS that I work at about two months ago. Came in as an L-90, just wanted confirmation on that! Thanks!

Its doing great and growing quite fast actually.

L090 or LDA65.

Remember Phil's old Titanic pleco? That is a baby version of him. I lost mine, but he had gotten to a little over 9" in 1 year. He started at 2".

Is L-90 and LDA65 the same species or is LDA65 the Titanic pleco? They look very similar?

What were you feeding yours to get such crazy growth? I've got mine on driftwood, zucchini, and algae in the tank. Occasionally stick spinach in there too. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Same species, L090 juvenile, LDA65 adult. The growth rate on these is just fast. Mine was fed on veggies, HBH algae tabs, and driftwood.

Thats weird, why do they split up the juv. and adult numbers?

HBH algae tabs? Not sure if we have those, but it does get supplemental algae wafers, not sure which brand though. They are pure spirulena wafers though, so that helps I imagine.

Any specific veggies give better growth?

Very cool man. I knew they got big, but not THAT big! How is their aggression towards other plecos? Solitary pleco in a tank?

Not aggressive, but big. Veggies I used are pretty wide spread, so which got best growth, couldn't tell you. The two plecs were both given numbers due to their different appearance, it was later that the two were linked when L090 grew into and LDA65. HBH starts with spirulina. What brand are yours?

L090 (now described as Panaque bathyphilus) and LDA065 are two different fish. L203 is considered the juvenile of LDA065.

As for the fish in question I would have said L203 over L090.

I guess that would explain it not getting the lyre tail earlier hey? Well I guess I can expect a rather large pleco then. Joy!
