well i want to my pond store by my house less then a mile away! :nilly:. well they sell tiplia. I thought you couldnt buy talpia unless you have a permit? I am in Fl. Also i wa really supposed that i asked how much there catfish were, and they said a 1.00 a piece or 100 for 90.00. so i bought 5.:headbang2 i have no clue what they are but i will take pics. Sure beats 5.00 a piece. I figure if they get too big i can always eat them.:WHOA:
 
im sure if you posted some pics in the catfish section someone youd get a better response, im not sure what sp it is

Looks like a channel cat, Ictalurus punctatus, to me too.

Regarding the legality of tilapia in Florida, most of the 100 or so species are prohibited outright, but four species are legal w/ a permit, and one species, blue tilapia, is unrestricted in some counties. Here's some info from the state fisheries website:
