So, to hatch brine shrimp, you are supposed to put salt, and an air pump, and all that fancy stuff. But when they sell those little kits for toys, and call them sea monkeys, they don't require an air pump, and I don't think any salt, either. I don't get it.

The seamonkeys are not needed to feed fish, so there hatch rate can be on the lower end and they it will not matter, and i think salt does come with the toy.

I do not see the big deal about buying a $7 cheapy air pump, 1' of line and some aquarium salt... I think the salt dosage is like anything from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon a liter(and if you use the inverted soda bottle, you will know how many liters, because there is only two liters)

I have an air pump that i can sell to you thats the perfect size for a small brine shrimp hatchery or two? PM me if you want it.
