Hey guys, I'm back. I know I still cant figure out how to stock my 75 gallon tank, but now I think im set. The tank has a tetra whisper 40i and a hyrodponge V for 125 gallons and a weekly 50percent WC. Fed 2 times a day and has manzanita branches as decor. Stocking wise at first I was thinking about 4 Angel's but I later impulse bought a turquoise severum and now must change the plan. I was wondering if in this tank this stock would be ideal --

1 severum
2 Angel's - rio nanay scalares
6 bolivian rams
8 candy cane tetras
1 bn or clown pleco

And suggestions?

Looks good to me stock wise

I'd say so too although if the Severum gets massive it might be an idea to swap it at that point. They don't usually get to a size where they're too big for a 75 though.

Alright, any suggestions on the type of pleco or anything else I should have?

The ones you have would be good, a 1M 2F Bristlenose trio or 3-4 clown pleco's as long as you keep up the water changes.

You may well find the Bolivian Rams will squabble a lot, i got fed up with a group i had.

I currently have a US 65G tank with 5 Blue Scalare Angels which do not breed so may well all be males, 5 GBR's 2 M 3 F, 6 Diamond Tetras and 1 Leopard Frog Pleco, 1 L177, 1 L075 and 1 Flash Pleco and i filter for about 100 US Gallons and do a 35% water change once a week. Temp at 26-27 degrees, lots of wood, lots of aeration and all is good.

Alright, gbrs cant be kept at 78 degrees can they? And should I up the number of Angel's? Or add a school of 5 Congo tetras?

If I want to add severum in 75 then I would just add a pair of severum, only golden and one spotted (of different genders) and 1/2 plecos. Grow them to full size.

I dint think I'd add another severum and the severum I have is around 4-5 inches.

I've always kept GBR's at 25 (77F) degrees C and above, preferably a little above. When you water change, make sure the water is warm enough going back into the tank as well. I wouldn't add anything else cichlid wise if you have 1 Sev and 2 Angelfish with a smaller group. It's also probably fair to say that Sev's with GBR will be a big size difference really. A pair of Keyholes would be another one you could consider with 1 Sev and 2 Angelfish. I love Congo Tetras but prefer to keep all S American with my Angels/Rams etc. They could possibly nip the Angels as well.
