I am intrested in a pair of green terrors but I am getting conflicting info on the size they can reach.Ive read everything from 8" to well over a foot.nothing seems to be consistant, this site, other sites, books, mags. So what is the average full grown lenght of a Gree terror ? (M and F)

I would say over a foot is wrong, never seen any this size. The biggest I saw was 10"...mine's over a year old not and is not even 10". Sometimes websites gives a much larger lenght than is common in aquariums. Of course there are oddballs that will get larger (ponds et all), but they are usually smaller than that.

I've never seen one in person that hit the 12" mark, but im sure its possible.

I've never seen a 12" one though most sources I've looked at say that is the max size. 10" is probably more realistic.

I have a few (cough) GTs and my big guys seem to get around 10" and then they slow or stop growing so I would say plan on 10 or 11" for the male and my females seem to only get 6 or 7"

I love GTs so I always recomend them.
