Confused on Lighting Need Help

Hi,

I need help lighting a 55 gallon mainly poly tank but will have live plants.
1. Need to know the difference between these two light fixture and which one is better for the money. Remember on limited budget and I'm unemployed. This one for $109

The Nova fixture is a T5 high output fixture. It has a more powerful ballast, and uses bulbs rated for higher wattage. It will put out a lot more light than the other fixture, and would be the better of the two for live plants.
