I have 2 4 inch jack dempseys in my tank she laid egg i read that jack dempseys are open spawners or something like that any they said they usually lay their eggs in open space but mines laid her eggs in this cave in my tank so some please explain this to me

Almost all of your south american and central american cichlids will spawn on a open rock, under a rock, in a cave, or even on the glass of the tank. This is very normal.
