Alright, I bought a tank off craigslist that was listed as a 125, I did measurements that came out as 6'x17.5''x19.5'' which would make it around 106 gallons. Then I went to my LFS and there 135 tanks look exactly the same as mine except there stands are shorter. So, what is my tank?

BTW the tank came with a sump which I estimate as around 10 gallons.

I am probably going to re-do measurements, it was kinda dark last time.

hmmm . . . according to my handy reference guide, a 125G Perfecto tank would be 72x18x22 (length x width x height) . . . yours sounds close enough, maybe it's a different manufacturer

wouldn't worry too much about it; as discussed on this site several times, the gallons that manufacturers claim are generally an overstatement of what the aquarium will actually hold

i think it must be a custom tank or an old brand tank... that does not sound like a common tank size to me, well no matter what you got a good sized tank, best of luck setting it up

its set up now with the oscars and pleco, the picus i had died a few days ago at 6 inches over the next few weeks im gonna add more fish, jack dempsey, jaguar, iridescent or columbian sharks, maybe a few neon as dithers

My (old) Oceanic "125 gal" is 72" x 18" x 20" (glass box not including trim)...

I think you should refer to it as a 125 gal and when calculating detailed measurements for personal use understand it holds about 115 gal of water minus the volume of substrate/decor/etc plus the volume of external filters...
