Congicus bichir info?

Hi mfk members I need all infos and input on congicus bichir. How much would a baby
Cost say about 3 -5 . Thanks
 
you wont find one 3-5 inches. You will find 10-12 and have to most likely order from toyin. He gets most of the rare bichirs. They get very large. I have 2 right now at 15 and 16 inches. I heard they get the thickest of all bichirs but my endlis are super fat and 16 17 inches so almost the same size. They are very mild tempered as most bichirs. They get nice saddle stripes on the body and nice markings on the top of the head. You will probably run you $100 for the 10 to 12 inch one. Good luck in your search if you find a small one you will be very lucky. hope i helped

Thanks for the infos my local fish guy had some 3" endlicheri in I didn't
Get it at that time now I regret it. He's on the look for them now but the congicus
Will be harder to find.
 
A few months ago, the LFS that I work at got some 4" Congicus in. Not sure of the supplier, but I'll see if I can find out.
 
Order yes..in the us we dont have the access like you in japan. And were here to help not be self righteous butt heads bro...i bet not to many bichirs are rare where you come from..

How much were 4" congicus going for at your shop that you work at?
 
Congicus are still somewhat rare around here even though toyin is local. I have a 14 to 15 inch female and she is by far the most active of my bichirs but is the least greedy eater

How the marking on her the saddle pattern? Whats the different between endlicheri and congicus pattern?
