Sorry for not soo good title but it's true. I recently acquired a pair of Congicus and it seems that they poop a lot. I am not new to Bichir keeping and have kept few over the years but Congicus is the first time. I noticed that upper jaw types doesn't create that much of a poop. Endlicheri and Congicus are two main ones making water dirty. Interestingly enough I am not feeding them as of yet but still it's insane. I will be doing a big water change and see how it goes. Also I noticed that pellets cause lot of poop but if you are feeding seafood the you won't see too much crap. Just wanted to share this unimportant observation. :lol3:

Lol you should try having an Oscar then. Pretty much the same as if your were keeping a cat or small dog in a fish tank with the size of their poop. Lol it's crazy seeing a 5in Oscar have a poop as big around and as long as your thumb is. I always figured that taking a dump that big at such a small size would hurt like a mother F***** but it always seemed so effortless to them. The only thing that ever made it funnier was when they ate a whole pound of duckweed in a week so for the next week they just had radioactive green poop even with how brown and red their pellets usually made it look.
