Congo tetras and bichirs

I ordered and received 12 "large" congo tetras last week, cost about $100.
They came in looking borderline too small, but I put them in anyway.
So far, five have been eaten, along with two of the four female congos I got at the same time.
That's $80 in unintentional feeders. FML
I think my 8" delhezi is catching and eating them.

Yeah I've lost a grand total of 14 Congo Tetra to the Jaws of Polys(and Odoe) If you can grow them out to full grown 4" and test them out on smaller polys (12"-14") it might take a couple of years but worth it

I had Congo Tetras with my Polys before. Can't say my Polys were at the 8" mark at the time. Albino Senegals were their tankmates though. IMO, Albino Sens just seem very predatory. Might have luck with those Polys with your Congos.
