wa
anyone have some info on them and pics. anyone have or had some. what do they like and how big do they get thanks

no one has had any

i have 5 of them right now they are all about 2-2.5". great lil guys. very active and aggresive during meal time. not to the point of fighting but they LOVE food. mostly silver with a blue hint down the center. fins are unique....tail fin is awesome. they school if they feel threatened...otherwise they swim freely around the tank. there are pics (decent) in my gallery of them (silver fish in the first three pics). fun lil guys.

Bigg081 is right on the money, I have had them several times over the years. They are active and alittle skittish but calm down if they have some bushy plants to duck into. They don't do to well except in groups and eat flake, small granules, and live foods like baby guppies, black and tubifex worms, as well as brineshrimp. A high protien diet maximizes growth and color. they like soft water that is either slightly acid or neutral pH. Females get about 2 1/2" and males to 3 1/2".

eat out of your fingers nice

I have one and it eats everything it can fit in its mouth.
Mine schools great with other fish.
