Congradulations to the National Champions, the Kansas Jayhawks!

In case you missed the game, the Kansas Jayhawks came back 9 points in the last two minutes with the help of a Sherron Collins steal and 3 pointer, tenacious Kansas defense, Memphis missed free throws, and a dramatic buzzer beater by Mario Chalmers.

I have been a loyal Kansas fan my entire life, and am extremely pleased that KU brought another championship back to Lawrence-20 years after "Danny and the Miracles".

On another note, Brandon Rush has declared for the NBA today.

I would like to wish Brandon Rush, Russell Robinson, Sasha Kaun, and Darnell Jackson the best of luck in the NBA!

It was a fantastic game! I came out my chair on Mario's 3 point shot that sent it into overtime!

Now we have to live with the aftermath garbage, the coach getting greedy and bending the school over. KU gave Self a five-year contract extension last season, increasing his annual compensation to more than $1.3 million with a chance to make another $350,000 each year if he meets incentives.
What will Mario's miracle shot be worth to Self's new salary? I wonder how much tution and tickets will go up to cover his greed.

Oklahoma State just offered Self $4 Million a year.

I have a gut feeling from hearing Self speak at the press conferences last night that he wants to stay at KU. KU will definetely have to re-negotiate a deal with Self though. I feel that Self is loyal to KU.

$4Mil to coach Basketball wow! the worlds upside down..I hope KU's contract has some teeth in it.
