Dear Fellow /\/\onsterfishkeepers,
Some of you may remember guppy as an active contributor to this board. Others may recognize the name from the knowledgeable posts they found in our archives. guppy joined /\/\FK four years ago today. Even though he hasnt been online for a while, his legacy endures: His experience in keeping everything from standard community fish to oddballs and /\/\onsters, his dedication to the hobby (spanning over decades), and his friendly helpfulness were characteristic of his posts.
It is time to honor him and those who are following in his footsteps. All /\/\FK Moderators take great pride in supporting this site and its community with help, inspiration, and the promotion of best fishkeeping practices. They serve as a team but infuse individual experiences. There is no best or greatest mod, however, just like in a sports team, there are players whose contributions have extra reach. Just like guppys. /\/\FK staff conducted an internal discussion to honor the Moderator whose threads and posts most closely align with guppys spirit of posting.
It was tough to choose a single Moderator, and deliberations actually ended in a tie:
