Connecting flexible hose to 1.5 inch PVC...

Anyone done this before and have a way that works?

I would like to have flexible hose hooked up to my ultima 2000 so I can hook it up in an area that I can’t leave pvc out all the time.

Blue discharge hose, this slips perfect over a 1" coupler. I believe its 1.5" hose size.

I use fittings that are barbed on one side and slip fit on the other. Glue the slip fit to your pvc, and shove the hose onto the barbed side once it’s dry. For added security, add an adjustable hose clamp.

The only problem, is when a stray fish , gets sucked into the tube, their is very little reduction to get jammed inside.
