Connecting two tanks

so the other day I was watching joey the diy king and he took two tanks and made an L shape tank. Anyway I have two 50 gallons thank I want to do this to but I was thinking of doing this with a drop off style tank if I could any ideas how to get the two seems to stick and not leak? One tank would be left and right the other up and down, I would use angle iron to make the framing

If they are well braced glass, silicone sould be fine, but I would be worried that your glass may not be thick enough. Water pressure only changes with water height, and you are looking to put 3x+ the pressure on that glass. I would try to use thicker glass.
