cons and salvini in a 55?

Think this will work. I'll be buying a few young of each and let them develop into a pair of each species when they are around 1.5 inches. Do you think this would work long term if I place something in the middle of the tank that will block a direct line of site at each of them?

I will be using the tank primarily as a breeder for feeders for my 110 with jags and other preds.

sounds like a bad ideal to me. they both get extreamly agro when breeding.
