I have a 30 gallon with 6 black cons and an orange chichlid,alos in the tank two river catfish two striped cats under 1 1/2 inches combined and a shark,also a pocotmous.I have always wanted to breed fish.I was wondering how do i tell what are females and males and my biggest con and the orange chich chase every fish away from the right corner,but are nice to each other and suggestion on how to breed em.

ne thing you can watch on the female is right before she lays eggs, her color will get more intense(the female also has a red patch on her belly which might not show up until this time).But in the meantime with your current set-up, you better get ready for some funerals.

I'm only hoping to get about 10 or 20 fray.i have a 10 gallon cycling jut for fray but should i get a bigger and i am thinking about getting a 250 gallon and place good to get one?
