Considering a ray

I'm wanting to try my hand at a couple teacup rays but i am trying to decide between that and discus with my loaches in a 90 gal. Would the discus and rays be ok tank mates? Anyone with any experience with this combo? thanks.

If you only have a 90 I would consider discus. A ray will quickly outgrow your tank. If you read the ray stickies you will get a better idea of the true needs of these monsters.

yeah i know they get large, but i have read that the teacup retics stay smaller. please correct me if i'm wrong though. i have a 300 also, just a lot of stuff growing out for it and i don't think it would all live together the 90 is open for new ideas that include my loach shoal.

24" silver aro, 18" black aro, 11" jar, 10" giant gourami, 8" delhizi bichir, 18" lima shovel nose. and have 3 more bichir, a fei feng, and a wild caught silver aro growing out.... oh and getting an 18" endli from a buddy this weekend
