Considering Adding A Third Senegal To My 55...

Got my two Sens together from Walmart on Vday. They were 2 inches, and now one is almost 4 inches and the other is 5 inches.

How do you think they would take to a third one, that is their size? I've heard rumours that once they set up territory they don't want strange Sens in their tank. Is this true?

I just moved them to the 55G tank yesterday (from their 20L). So they aren't really settled in yet... if I get another sens it would be in a day or so.

Also if you get more than on Senegal from the same place then I'm guessing that chances are pretty good they are related. Is they are, will they breed?

And if they do will the babies be "Tarded"?

All the little ones from Wal-mart and other chain stores are farm breed in mass quantities so unless they are purchased at the same time odds are slim for direct siblings. 3 in a 55 will be ok for a while (couple of years imho) as they seem to slow down around 7 inches or so. They are not really a species that will breed without some work from what I have read.
