I have been looking into purchasing an HMA (heavy metal axe) filter for my place. My city water is a horrible we are even told not to brush our teeth with it. The manufacturers press info says it removes chlorine, chloramine, flouride, heavy metals and other chemicals. I know some of the factories I visit use these systems for drinking water in their dormitories, so it must be good for fish right?
I know RO water is used for a lot of soft water fishes but I pay for water and I don't want to just throw away the waste water. So does anyone use one of these systems? Any feedback, good or bad?
