Considering buying a Red Atabapo I... Opinions?

Hi. I've been keeping monster fish for a long time now but I don't have any experience keeping Crenicichla... I have a silver arowana, redtail catfish, florida gar, and peacock bass and I just upgraded to a 400 gal. Was wondering if a Red Pike could work in this tank? If so, what kinds of food do they prefer? I saw them on Aquascape and fell in love with them.

It would except I'd just be worried about the red tail cat swallowing it.... Other than that it would be just fine IMO. Atabapo I can get large 17+ inches so everything else would be fine i'd just keep an eye on the rtc swallowing the gar too.

All pikes like live food but they'll eat just about anything. Mine eat anything. Pellets krill tillapia but usually just get NLS Thera A pellets but they splash water everywhere when going after them like my peacock bass... I don't feed live for obvious reasons....
