Hello all.

I currently have 15 red belly piranha and am thinking about switching to P bass. I have a 180 gallon tank with 2 ac110s and an xp3, and it is heated by 500 watts. I know this tank is on the smaller side for Pbass but wanted to see what everyone on here thinks. Please leave me any feedback or suggestions. Thanks :)

not a big enough permanent home for any species of peacocks other than intermedia- which are a VERY rare peacock growing 18-20" and haveing price tags of $150-400 for 2-3"ers.

all other species grow to big for that to be a permanent home, but a decent grow out until you can get something much bigger. Mono's and orino's stay around 26"-28", Tems hit 3-4' if kept properly.

the three lastly listed are the most common, cheapest, and most seen peacocks. most other species are much rarer, and demand large price tags.

you'll also want to majorilly Beef up your filtration system to ethier a Large Sump, Wet/Dry, or Canisters...
