I bought this tank about 6 months ago when I lived in an apartment so I had never set it up. Well I now moved into a house, and have a great spot to set it up but Im worried about the floors giving (addition to house, so no way of getting underneath to add suppots). I thought about putting it in the basement but I just dont have the room with my other tanks and pool table. I really want to keep it since Ive put so much into it but I dont know if I'd have the time to maintain another tank.
Im posting this to see if there is any interest.
I painted and glossed the stand a black color.
Its got approx 3 inches of soilmaster select charcoal color (I have half a bag still if wanted). It looks like the Tahitian moon sand when wet and is somewhat beneficial for plants.
2 pieces of driftwood.
1- 250 watt Visi-Therm Stealth heater New.
New Fluval FX5 filled with pot scrubbies and I have 2 boxes of filter pads (5 in each I think).
I also have a box of random fish stuff the guy I bought the tank gave me. There is a "jebo" canister filter (never plugged it in but he said it was newer) and a bunch of other random fish junk.
I also have a 48" Coralife (not the really nice ones but its a Coralife, about 6 months old) light strip that needs new bulbs.
I purchased the tank for $400, and the FX5 for $200, not to mention all the other stuff and time that I have put into this.
Price would be $600 firm if anyone is interested. Delivery is possible within an hour but would need lots of gas money since I drive a gas guzzling Jeep.
I can get better pics if there is interest, I just moved in so there is junk everywhere.
