i think the green terror i picked up today may be constipated or maybe have internal parasites, the fish has a good appetite and ate some nls pellets straight away but i've noticed it has a slightly swollen anus and have not seen it poop.
it has been flicking off the sand a bit as well.
do you think i should use some epsom salts or i do have some discus wormer plus which has flubenzonal in it.
i know i've not had the fish long but i'd rather treat it as soon as possible.

Here is an article about fish constipation, you could try epsom salts or feeding peas.

The flashing could be an indicator of ick, but also and indicator of stress or aggression. Do you see any white dots, that don't rub off, on the fish?

Signs of internal parasites to look for are sunken in bellies and/or quickly after the fish eats it starts to look skinny/or as if it has not eaten. Do you see any of that going on?

no sign of ick and he hasn't been flicking today, i've tried some peas but he keeps spitting them out, he hasn't got a sunken belly either in fact he looks completely normal and his eating and pooping look ok it's just that he looks a bit swollen and a little bit red around the anus.
i might give the epsom salts a go see if it helps :)
