What do you guys use to store water so that it ages???Containers, bins, rubbermaids, ??? dunno what to use, BTw I need at least 50-100g:confused:

How much space do you have? and where will the storage containers be? This is how I used to do it. Now I just add tap and dechlor.....

I got lots of place, just need to find something big and strong enough, don't want a mess on the floor, just didn't know that I could use trash cans?

not to hijack your thread, but do we just fill it with tap water and add an air stone? or what do we have to do once we put the tap water in?

You could add air stone and a heater and let it age a week to remove the contaminants. Or you can fill it up then add PRIME and let it sit for 15mins before it's ready to go back into the tank. As my mechanic teacher would say, "Which ever turns you on?":D

If you are dealing with chlorine, you just need an air stone and you could do a heater, but it will not be necessary. If you are dealing with chloramines, you will need to chemically treat for that no matter what. Aging will not rid chloramines.

Not sure if we have chlormines in our water, i'm in florida.
I think on the safe side I'll just add some prime.
