first i want to say that i am thankful that my family and friends had minimal damage,so lucky in that sense.my heart goes out to others in the NJ/ny/conn. region that were hit so hard and lost so much more.my power just came back sunday night.i was not able to take fish with me.temps inside got below 55.i had 4 tanks.my trimac is gone,syns grow outs all gone.5 SD gone.5 carpintis still alive! the hybrid texasXjag in my avitar was hunkered down still going strong also.after a water change he is bangin the glass already.RIP buddy,i will miss my big ole trimac

im sorry for your losses. ive had the same type of thing happen to me in a winterstorm. its upsetting but its out of your hands.
 
Im so sorry, Im in northern NJ. I had my generator running for 4 days then caved, after not being able to find any more gas for it, and brought them to my folks place with power in 3 different 10 gallon tanks.. Sorry yours didn't make it.
 
Sorry to hear that, I lose some fish too during Hurricane Katrina, our lights where out for over 3 weeks. So I feel your pain. Take care and hope things get to normal again quickly for you.
