I have had these 2 endli's for a year now and from looking identical at about 5" they now look completely different! got them from a fellow mfk'r after they'd been rucking with his other 2 and the darker one lost an eye and the lighter one almost died

(see thread http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35934)

they are both in great health now although the lighter one still doesn't have the most graceful balance since he nearly died and the darker one has grown far quicker and i was just wondering in anyone knows why they would vary so much in markings now?

could it be because the health problems that both have had in the past?

I love them both and the light one is about 12" and probably has the best markings i've seen on an endli and the dark about 14" and about twice as thick and eats like a pig.

the fourth pic is before i got them, the 1st, 2nd and 5th are about a week after i got them a year ago and the 3rd pic is them now.

cool, how big is the tank? And is that a bgk i see?

tank is 7' x 2' x 2'. the little black bit of a fish you can see under the ledge is the tail of a thinbar dat hiding and the little bit of the fish you can see in the top corner is one of my megalodoras irwini.

In the 3rd picture? That black thing still looks like a bgk to me. Awesome tank, though

i like the dark one!
but its only in the one when they r ontop of eachother that he looks different...

yeah that's the point! all the other pics are from when they were young and the one where they are on top of the pic is of them now so you can see that when they were young they were identical but now they are completely different.
