Controlled Heaters.

Do they make heaters that have controllers? i hate reaching inside my tank to raise my temp. Or think it will be to costly.

Biotherm and Won Brothers both make a very cool controllers. A quick google or froogle search will get you going.

Dr. fosters and smith sells several heaters with outside controllers I have a couple from them. not real expensive either

aqua medic makes the best ones imo I have had problems with won bros cost me a lot in fish why do you have to raise your temp I have stealths in all my tanks and they are set between 80 and 86 and are dead on

Yes, and they work great. I have 2 of them running in tanks now. One of them has been controlling 2-500 watt heaters for almost 2 years flawlessly.

Sorry but I am disagreeing with Nic here. I bought an AquaMedic HC controller here in the UK, cost the equivalent of $234.00 and it failed twice under guarantee.The new one ALSO failed, so it's in the bin and I've put it down to a (very expensive) mistake on my part...
