Hi! So I'm in the process of buying a 330 gallon saltwater setup. It's at a great price so I decided to get it and convert it into a freshwater tank for my current buddies! So far I've read using vinegar to kill of the organisms and residue; but I've also read that with that size of a tank a little salt won't exactly hurt as it'd be diluted. Any advice on converting it into freshwater please?!
Thank you very much guys!

i would still use vinegar and water to give it a nice rinse, you can never be to careful

If the fish your going to stock in it are soft water species then I would try to get most of the salt out. I agree vinagar solution for cleaning

Hmmmm more info, within the tank will be a fahaka puffer, 2 5 star general cichlids, a pleco, a texas and convict hybrid cichlid. Currently the fish are living in a 150 gallon freshwater tank with some aquarium salt for good measure.
