I have an old 55 gal 4 foot acrylic tank that is all scratched up an I had planned a sump for its use. My question is should I use glass or acrylic for the seperators in the tank, and what kind or sealant should I use silicone or ???? ?
Here is a basic drawing of the sump, I've already ordered a Dart 3600 gal. pump. This will be filter for a 225 gal. aquarium.
There will be two 2" overflows, and the white area is filter floss. I have not started yet, so if you see any problems PLEASE help me out.
