DUDE TURN OFF THE CAPS LOCK!!! Seriously, it's annoying when people use it, it makes them come off as retarded (no offense?)

Anyways, back on topic, I suggest FD krill and getting them to wait for their food at the top and pretty soon they'll take anything you throw in. That's how all 7 of my cichla are. (4 orino's, 2 monos, and 1 tem.)

+1 this is what i do also, and you can add mysis shrimp to that list if there still smaller

feed them well and starve them for a day. I did that with mine and now he will hit anything that hits the water even though he won't eat the pellets.

doesn't that mean he won't eat anything that hits the water? jk jk! ;)

Krill is good, market shrimp is good, pellets = best IMO. I started mine on bloodworms then went straight to hikari food sticks. Once they start eating pellets, everything is food to them. Good luck!

ive tried all foods and yeah guyana ocell and peru mono food sticks krill pelets... ive been power feeding these guys to get them caught up to my others... p.s. my larger guys are off live! wahoo!
