I just got a free 40 breeder and stand and it was previously a salt tank. It was covered in coralline and green algae. I got almost all the coraline off but the green is a bit harder. Do you guys think this should affect much when it becomes freshwater. My old 38 I ran as salt for a year and transfered it to fresh about 5 months ago and had no problems. The 38 was much easier because i cleaned all the algae off when there was still water in it, the 40 is dry. Imo I think it will be fine maybe bring the ph up a lil and cause some nitrates. Does anyone else think otherwise?

yeah bleach would workor even just water and scrap off with a blade.
but the freshwater should at least kill it. you could just keep up on the WC's.
